Credentials
Aggeliki Kontogianni is a partner of LK Tax and is responsible for the tax compliance of the international clients and the selected Greek clients the firm takes on alongside its advisory engagements: VAT and other tax returns, myDATA reporting and reconciliations, and oversight of the accounting records. She has close to twenty years of experience in finance, accounting and tax compliance, the last nine of them with LK Tax.
She directs and reviews the work of her team and is the standing point of contact for clients' dealings with the Greek tax authority and other public bodies. Her work covers the full compliance cycle, from the application of the Greek Accounting Standards (Law 4308/2014) to VAT, withholding tax and corporate income tax returns and the annual financial statements, and she works directly with statutory auditors on the annual close. She previously spent eight years in the finance function of the Greek subsidiary of an international transport and logistics group.
She holds a degree in Statistics from the University of Piraeus and the Class A accountant and tax consultant licence issued by the Economic Chamber of Greece, of which she is a member.
